Quandary Resolution 4420
pneumonic, cacophonous, festoon, violescent

I was grounded “forever” when my parents came home early from a weekend vacation-without-kids to the cacophonous sounds of an inebriated garage band playing in our living room, floor littered with beer bottles, and festoons of outer and under clothing decorating the furniture, the sight of which turned my father’s voice into mere pneumonic gasps and changed his head and neck color to a violescent hue.
