Quandary Resolution 4456
cenobite, superannuated, realia, pseudepigraphy

Miss Read wanted to share the writings of St. Francis with her middle school class but had no idea how to interest them in someone whose life as a cenobite would seem so superannuated compared to theirs in suburban America, and a show-and-tell of realia such as cowls, quills, and inkwells would look odd, so she set up a social networking site in a pseudepigraphic attempt to make Frank’s Facebook phraseology appear relevant to teens.
