Inspector Lestrade shook his head and wondered how a body could still be nomothermic several hours after death, why the purported suicide note was written on a palimpsest -- a scrap of Egyptian papyrus, judging by the little figures left in one corner, and how this man could have been hung – or strangled – with a silk necktie during daylight hours in a haberdashery known as a relict from the Victorian Age, and often crowded with tourists.
