Quandary Resolution 4603
psychological moment, in a pig's eye, nascent, marmoreal

In the past, Pygmalion’s mother would dampen his ardor for any young lady that he admired from afar by saying, “in a pig’s eye” to his hopes for winning her affection, but this time he was ecstatic and so sure he’d picked the psychological moment to tell his mother about the new woman in his life -- his nascent girlfriend, perfect in every way, having just come to life from his marmoreal creation, a female figure carved from a single flawless block of Carrara marble.
