Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 4620
deus ex machina, eat crow, obviate, gaumless
When we pleaded for a pit stop in order to obviate being stranded in the desert, our gaumless driver ridiculed our worries and pushed on past the last gas station, but when we stalled later with no other cars in sight, he was forced to eat crow and he sheepishly assured us that a deus ex machina would soon save us from a slow parched death in the 120 degree heat.
