Quandary Resolution 4670
hereditament, unheralded, doxology, machinate
During the doxology of Margaret Thatcher's funeral, as we should have been remembering our mortality and our creator's majesty, I could not prevent myself from pondering her descendants and how surprised I was that the unheralded part of the story was not the wealth of the Iron Lady's hereditament, but rather her son's - given that he has machinated to amass a fortune of around 50 million pounds via sometimes dodgy dealings in Africa and some use of his mom's position elsewhere.
