Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 4687
attorn, ungulate, nepenthe, percipient

“I ain’t gonna attorn to no railway man’s claim-jumpin: fancy govment  deed or not; it’s my ranch, been mine nigh on to  20 years and I might even let you build your train if ya don’t do nothing to upset the ungulates”, but, despite the brave façade,  the old homesteader was a percipient man and that night, weary and with bent back, home he ranged and sought the nepenthe he had always found in the circle of his stout wife’s arms.
