Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 4781
mammonism, Penrose stairs, berceuse, saccharine

In our materialist society, our iPods and the often saccharine music we play on them lull us into a false sense of comfort like a sort of virtual berceuse with its soothing 6/8 cadence matching our steps up and down and around the Penrose stairs, as if our consumerism were not an escape from the bitter reality and consequences of our fruitless peonage to greed and of our shameless mammonism.
