The beautiful young stegosaur, skin glistening an amalgam of red, gold and chartreuse in the morning sun, wandered through a menagerie of dinosaurs evolved through 500 millennia; a very happy, stupid beast, an inauspicious genethliac was its fate, born not under an unlucky star, but asteroid; he glanced up from his humming, "dum-de-dum-de-dum-de-dum" and thought: "I hope that giant glowing ball in the sky will be my friend, otherwise I may have to thagomize it,"--a million years later, after the dust had settled, there were monkeys.
