Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 4868
collier, crown molding, sky pilot, isolato

Peering into Pascal Pendergrass puny cabin one wondered how he survived in such a cluttered cubical crammed with curiosities anatomical, astronautical and architectural including crown molding better suited to a crown prince, yet this quiet little man spent all his days there unless called upon to pilot our ship, the collier “Anthracite Arc”; yet, on a ship at sail for months at a time, his very reticence made him a good shipmate; until one night, he veered suddenly from isolato to full scale insanity and, claiming to be our sky pilot, he tried to lead us, body as well as soul, into the afterlife by striking a blaze in the coal bins and steering the ship into the path of an iceberg, cachinnating wildly as he did so and swearing only when hell froze over could he deliver out motley crew to salvation.
