Quandary Resolution 5231
Podocyte, purple prose, pecuniary, trepan

Peter Paul, and his wife Mary, science fiction writers known for their purple prose and pecuniary interest in the horror movie genre, recently finished a B-list script about a predatory podocyte, a cell culture escapee from a Petri dish during an experiment gone wrong, which transforms into a humanoid trepan that preys upon real people, trapping and squeezing them with its many limbs and filtering the life-sustaining fluids from their bodies into its own.
