Quandary Resolution 5234
Down syndrome, allomother, ensky, arraign

Prince Harold had always enskied the virtues of his mother the Queen, until the day she was arraigned on charges of corruption and he learned that he was not the heir apparent to the throne, but that her first-born son had been relegated to a series of allomothers, both human and lupine, after it was noted that he had Down syndrome; whereupon, she despaired of losing her head if it became known that the child had been liveborn but defective, rather than stillborn, as she had so tearfully told his Highness.
