Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 5417
ruck, cacophonous, writhe, delitescent

Cacophonous caws swept across the somber sky and filled the heart of Detective Inspector Malroy with dread, but it was only after he had shoved his way through the ruck of people in the park – mostly homeless urban campers, that he could see the man who had been writhing on the ground -- but then lay still -- at the center of the crowd had been clutching a knife handle protruding from his mid-section, and as his hands fell to the sides, his jacket opened to reveal a delitescent gaping wound which had been sponged nearly dry by the down-filled parka, and Malroy thought it apt that a bunch of crows equaled a murder.
