The dark, cloudless sky provided the perfect backdrop to evince the flaming path of the bolide as it hurtled through the atmosphere, suddenly breaking up and creating a furcate system of fiery streaks just over the horizon, providing a live alternative to the myriad of bland channels offered by the country’s small oligopoly of cable providers.
