On the night of the empty moon, village elders gathered the people and announced that the god Swahara would now evince his supreme and exclusive power by sending a bolide with a furcate tail through the starry sky, but when three such fireballs were observed, each with a branch of light expanding behind it, the people knew there was still some healthy competition within the oligopoly of their gods.
