Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 7009
zetetic, knock one over with a feather, lagniappe, compendium
There once was a scholar of Cheam
Who utilised diligent means;
His work was zetetic
As well as frenetic
But all was not quite as it seemed:

His mind was a muddled compendium
Of mad ravings from a sanitarium,
And to add to the crap,
Like a foolish lagniappe,
He himself was the insane addendum!

So, putting the facts all together
Everyone that he met wondered whether
There was aught he advised
Sufficiently wise
As to knock them all down with a feather.
