Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 7066
grimgribber, go it alone, roué, toffee apple
All I wanted was a toffee apple,
- Sweet and round;
I looked all over, and asked the people
- Of the town,
An old roué offered me a ride
- In his jalloppy,
I looked askance and took him aside
- To ask him properly:
He vowed to take me to the store
- Previously mentioned,
But his grimgribber made me unsure
- Of his intention,
Without further ado, needing a sticky treat,
- I then decide
Going it alone, on my own two weary feet
- Is more than justified.
