Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 7101
campanile, Eurodeterrent, anachronism, enhance

The Director summoned his six Wise Men,

And challenged them all to "Name This Hen!"

The first, who said, "It's a Goose!" was Ben,

But, "No, it's a Grouse," said the Younger Len;

Whose elder Namesake cried: "It's a Wren!"

"Nonsense, an Owl!" mumbled myopic Den,

"That thing's no Fowl!" said Simon, then

Declared: "it's a Thingamajig, betcha Ten!"
The solution was solved by New Man, Glen,

Who said, to the Chief, Sir Norman Penn:
"It's a most anachronistic bird,

It's diet exclusively Jacob's Sheep's Turd!

It can only fly down from the Campanile,

It's cry is a horrible, gruesome Squeal!

It was bred as a Eurodeterrent, you see,

To scare off Migrants from over the sea,

And enhance the view as it loups through the rye,

Where the sourocks meet the heather in Milngavie!"

(Editor's Note for Sassenachs: Milngavie is pronounced Mul-guy)
