Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 745
methuselah, affront, alow, distrait
A veritable Methuselah amongst neuro-psychiatrists, the ninety-two year-old Dr. Pysher limped and equivocated his way through the days, sails for the most part furled alow and aloft, as it were, distrait and unable to focus on his patients' symptoms on account of retaining just enough air in his sails to be aware of his increasing limitations and, unfortunately, also to be quite angrily affronted if they questioned his tendency to prescribe Vicks' VapoRub for everything from migraines to restless leg syndrome.
