Quandary Resolution 746
methuselah, affront, alow, distrait
I chanced upon a man one day who made Methuselah seem spritely and I, with no intention to affront, so thus asked quite politely “Who here is your companion?” and he without distrait replied “Death is this good friend you see and soon he moves from me to thee” and when I looked alow in dread he smiled and very gently said, “but do not fear your time is near/ but when he walks beside you/ you will find with clearer mind he come not to deride you/ but purely here to hold you dear and softly just to guide you.”
