Thurmond arrived, a happy supplicant, prepared to laud the achievements of the library’s founder, Joe Don ‘Don’ Buttmount, whom he felt must surely be at the apex of his powers as a bibliophile to have fashioned such a library as the West Texas Biblical Bibliotheca; but he was quickly disillusioned when he discovered that ‘Don’ was nothing more than a bibliomaniacal Biblical bibliomancer attempting to take over the world by the use of divinely guided scripture, culled from the 2,705,000 Bibles in the library's ever growing collection from around the world.
