Quandary Resolution 887
laager, infallible, licit, didactic
Quebec, driven by an infallible motivation to protect itself from the encroaching English language from all around, has created a laager by inventing new French words to be used in place of otherwise licit English words in everyday usage, and creating and strictly enforcing didactic policies about word choice and font size (of French words, relative to English words) in signs throughout the city.
