Quandary Resolution 935
salmagundi, misanthropic, haywire, gravitas
The Museum calendar is an exquisite salmagundi of 365 objets d'art in all media and from every conceivable time and place, assembled into a seamlessly graceful whole, which must have taken a rare mixture of playfulness and gravitas, since the project could so easily have gone haywire and ended up being a sadly lumpy compilation of jarring elements flung together by a misanthropic curator who secretly despises people who don't actually visit the Museum but just buy the calendars online.
