Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 947
olla podrida, sleiveen, glower, potable
Do you have what it takes to grab this sleiveen of life by the hair and wring from its tricks and lies the potable wine of life and not glower like child when you spill a drop and, if the trickster is not done, and it changes that sweet wine to a vile and tasteless olla podrida, will you then have the strength and will to spread your own soul’s spice into its broth and bring it round and share the brew without regret?
