Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 993
taisch, bilious, esemplastic, sylvan
Suzanne is an artist who works in collage, a perfect outlet for her esemplastic genius, taking objects as disparate and strange as the components of some witch's brew - a taxidermy lizard, a lace-wrapped gallstone stolen from a bilious great aunt, photographs of the dappled light of a sylvan glade, the finial from a thrift shop lamp, and a few pieces of cheap dollhouse furniture - assembling everything just so, labeling it "Old Maisie", and suddenly you'd swear you heard the taisch of her Scottish grandmother.
